The war is in its third week and while our lives remained unaffected with the exception of gas prices, it’s been anything but normal in Ukraine. Millions have been displaced and several hundreds of lives lost, including innocent civilians. At Ighty Support, we feel as a citizen of the world, we have to do our part to make a difference in whatever possible way.
For the month of March, Ighty Support has committed to donating to UNICEF’s cause. In circumstances where people are suffering, it is always important to do anything to assist. Seeing these developments overseas makes us thankful to live in such comfortable conditions and gives us even more of a reason to be just a little bit selfless. Ighty Support encourages you to learn about how the conflict is hurting families and children especially and consider extending your generosity to UNICEF’s cause. Over 18 million people are estimated to be affected with more than seven million losing their homes. UNICEF aims to provide aid to the more vulnerable communities, providing safe water, healthcare, nutrition, and protection to the families and children suffering.
We pride ourselves on our service and character and feel the need to fulfill certain responsibilities to not just our local community, but to anyone in dire need of help.
