Background and The Challenge

A healthcare office in Dallas was struggling with too many IT issues which in turn adversely affected their productivity and reliability. The challenges our client faced were hardware failures, device malfunctions, and system configuration issues across multiple devices.

We identified the issues and took note of them. The issues were an SSD failure in the client’s PC, a smartphone issue, a failed laptop battery, and a non-responsive laptop.

Solutions we devised

Ighty Support then devised the solutions for the issues disrupting the client’s business.

Here are the solutions we offered to our client:

SSD Replacement

  • We removed the faulty SSD from the client’s PC and fixed it using the Acronis software.
  • Then, we installed a new SSD and installed Windows 11 PRO on the client’s PC.
  • Not only this but we also set up some essential tools and configurations such as Microsoft Office Apps 2021, Network Printer and Google Chrome, Ncentral Essential and SentinelOne, and GoFlex file server with mapped network drives.
  • We also configured one drive backup with their 1TB Hotmail account and offered them 1:1 training on how to use it.

Data Recovery

  • We recovered the files and data from the client’s SSD first and then transferred the files to their PC once retrieved

Nextiva Phone Issues

  • We successfully paired the existing phone with its base.
  • We resolved the connectivity issues by reaching out to Nextiva support.

Hardware Installations and Updates

  • We installed a new scanner on the client’s computer and tested its compatibility with the eClinicalWorks software.
  • We replaced the damaged battery for the laptop.

Desktop Resolutions

  • We took note of the issues on the Client’s desktop.
  • We then configured Chrome to use Google as the default search engine.

Network and Security Checks

  • Ighty Support reviewed and labeled cables in the network cabinet to easily identify the cables when the need arises.
  • We verified OpenDNS functionality to ensure the client’s network is secure from attacks and breaches.

Intercom System
  • Installed and mounted the P2P antennas using steel supports.
  • Configured, tested, documented, and confirmed the network.



Conclusion

The project was completed within the proposed schedule, adhering to all safety and quality standards. The client received a robust fiber cabling system and a fully functional P2P antenna network, enabling seamless communication and operational efficiency.
